Camosun College Child Care Services, the cause behind the event, operates five licensed centers on both campuses. Providing high quality child care on campus allows parents the opportunity to pursue their educational and career goals while raising children. All proceeds from the festival are used for non-personnel resources, special projects and an annual student bursary.
To date, $117,700 has been raised through the event allowing eight students to receive bursaries offsetting their child care costs; monies being allocated to the annual operating budget; and projects such as the infant yard landscaping, preschool climber resurfacing, and interior painting to be completed.
